Beijing, The Great Wall
Arrive in Beijing and check in at The PuXuan Hotel & Spa near Wangfujing, stretch your legs at the Temple of Heaven, then wander quiet hutong lanes before a Peking duck victory lap at Siji Minfu and an early night. At dawn, head to Mutianyu with a private driver, ride the cable car up to the ramparts while they are still quiet, stroll between towers 14 and 20, then descend by chairlift or keep it elegant with a return cable, stop for a countryside lunch at Xin Shuang Quan, and be back in the city by late afternoon.
